Item Title
C-22 Participate in submitting the Multi-District Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resource System (FDLRS) GRANT with Duval County as the fiscal agent for year July 1, 2010 to August 31, 2011.
Issue/Rationale
Clay County participates with Duval and Nassau Counties in the FDLRS Crown Associate Center Grant with Duval as the fiscal agent.
The FDLRS Crown Grant provides service to Exceptional Education including inservice activities, programs for parents, technology support, and required Child Find activities.
Recommended Action
Approval of the FDLRS Grant.
Financial Impact
This grant is funded with state and federal dollars. There is no cost to Clay County Schools, while budgets are not final, the grant will be approximately the same amount. FDLRS provides assistance with inservice, parent training and necessary Child Find activities.
