The structures are no longer usable and have become a hazard.  Disposal of School Board owned property requires approval of the School Board by Resolution as defined in F. S. 1013.28.   It is recommended that these structures be demolished to eliminate any potential liability with the structures.  The buildings do not meet current requirements for a classroom, were taken out of service and since have been used as storage buildings.  The Maintenance Department has determined it is not cost effective to renovate these buildings.

Approve the Resolution to dispose of relocatable buildings Rooms 501, 601, 701 and 801 at Middleburg Transportation.

The cost to raze the buildings and remove the debris is estimated not to exceed $20,000.00.
