Item Title
C-13 Addendum to the contractual agreement between the School District of Clay County and Clarke Auditory/Oral Center, (a Jacksonville private school) for the SUMMER PROGRAM, in school year 2008-2009.
Issue/Rationale
The contractual agreement (first time) allows the School District of Clay County to serve Cochlear Implant Hearing Impaired Students at Clarke Auditory/Oral Center but does not provide for the Summer Program.
This addendum covers students with Cochlear implants for the Summer Program.
Recommended Action
The Superintendent recommends approval.
Financial Impact
Clay District Schools collects FEFP, FTE and IDEA funds on each child and this covers the cost of serving them at the Clarke School, including very involved (255) students. This would be funded from IDEA, federal grant funds, meets a grant requirement, and will be less than $7,000.00.
