Issue/Rationale
This project is listed in the 2008/2009 Educational Facilities Plan. The award of a construction project in excess of $25,000.00 requires School Board approval.
The bid opening was held Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. The project had twelve (12) bidders and all bidders met the bid requirements.
Recommended Action
Award the construction contract to Thomas May Construction Company, the low bidder meeting specifications, the base bid in the amount of $65,000.00.

The low bidder meeting specifications, Thomas May Construction Company, has a total bid award of $65,000.00. These funds are budgeted and available in the 2008/2009 Educational Facilities Plan.
