Issue/Rationale

Issue Rationale for renewals as required per FS 287, DOE 6A-1.01 and School Board Policy

 

a. Carpentry Construction Bid #08-F-199.  Contract Period is April 18, 2008 through April 17, 2009.  This is the first renewal. 

 

b. Diplomas Bid #08-SCH-83.  Contract Period is June 20, 2008 through June 18, 2009.  This is the first renewal. 

 

c. Computer Aided & Drafting Services Bid #05-F-185.  Contract Period is July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009.  This is the last renewal. 



Recommended Action

Extend renewals as follows:

 

a. Carpentry Construction Bid #08-F-199 - To:

·         Gary S. Bailey, low bidder on all projects estimated to cost $7,999.99 or less.

·         Request quotes from:  Gary S. Bailey, Quality Construction of NE Florida and Thomas May Construction, on all projects estimated to exceed $7,999.99.

·         Remove Russell Construction - The previous Second low bidder awarded April 19, 2007 has not signed renewal letter or renewed the “Pre-Qualification of Contractors” a requirement of the bid.   

 

b. Diplomas Bid #08-SCH-83 - To:

·         Herff Jones

 

c. Computer Aided & Drafting Services Bid #05-F-185 - To:

·         Engineering Technical Support
