April 17, 2008 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #14 Item Title C-14 Proclamation Endorsing National School Nurse Day, May 7, 2008 Issue/Rationale The National Association of School Nurses have designated May 7, 2008 as School Nurse Day.  School Nurse Day has been established to foster a better understanding of the role of school nurses in the educational setting.  Therefore, this year's Nurse Day recognizes the vital role that school nurses have played in improving the health and well being of our country's children. Recommended Action Approve the Proclamation Endorsing National School Nurse Day, May 7, 2008 as submitted.
