April 17, 2014 - Regular Meeting Agenda Item #30 Item Title C-33 Writeoff Non-Sufficient Checks at School Issue/Rationale Chapter Eight (School Internal Funds) of the Financial and Program Cost Accounting and reporting of the Florida Schools Manual (The Red Book) requires under Section III l.6(B) that a check can be declared uncollectible and written off the books only by the action of the School Board.  Therefore, we are requesting that permission be granted to write off the following checks made payable to the following school: MRE Raysin - 6.00 Mason - 12.00 Stanwix-Hay - 59.00 Johnson - 16.00 Sims - 86.50 Blair - 26.00 Motes - 15.00 Recommended Action Approve write off NSF checks, as presented.
