Item Title
Partial Guaranteed Maximum Price for Elementary School "X"
Issue/Rationale
The partial GMP allows the District to lock in prices established when Elementary Schools “W” and “X” were bid together. The schools are a prototype design with the only differences being site layout and conditions. The site GMP will be presented to the Board at the May 17, 2007 meeting. The partial GMP package has been thoroughly reviewed by District staff and the Architect.
Recommended Action
Approve the partial Guaranteed Maximum Price proposal for Elementary School “X” from Skanska USA Building Inc. Upon the approval of the GMP proposal, this document becomes part of the Construction Manager At-Risk agreement for the project.
Financial Impact
The partial Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for this project is $20,795,246.00. The project anticipates a May 23, 2007 Notice to Proceed, with Substantial Completion on July 31, 2008. Final Completion is to be achieved August 29, 2008.
Funding for this project is Part III Capital Outlay and is currently budgeted and identified within our 2006-2007 Educational Facilities Plan.
