Bid opening was held Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. The project had three (3) bidders and was advertised two (2) times.

This project was previously advertised three (3) times and all bids were rejected at the February 15, 2007 Board meeting. There was uncertainty of which material to use to construct the ductwork; metal or phenolic foam.

Award the contract to the second low bidder meeting specifications, Bill Williams Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc., for a total bid award of $283,825.00.

(The low bidder requested his bid be withdrawn because they did not include phenolic foam pre-insulated duct.)
