Item Title
Adopt the 2011-12 discretionary operating mill levy

Issue/Rationale
In addition to RLE, districts may choose to levy an additional non-voted property tax. The Legislature establishes the maximum millage that each district may levy. Currently, the maximum allowed is 0.748.

Recommended Action

Motion to adopt discretionary mill levy of 0.748 which is 6.05 percent less than the rolled-back rate.

Financial Impact
This levy will generate $6,619,467 to fund 100.
