Item Title
C-13 Contracts between School Board of Clay County and Health-Tech regarding the Safe & Drug-Free Schools Program and the Tobacco Prevention and Intervention Teacher Training Project
Issue/Rationale
The Safe & Healthy Schools Division of Florida Department of Education requires a formal evaluation plan of any district grant level award funds to monitor progress toward meeting a program's process and outcome objective. Health-Tech Consultants, Inc. specializing in Title IV and state prevention grant funded programs will conduct formal evaluations and provide the School District of Clay County with a written report.
Recommended Action
Approve the Contracts between School Board of Clay County and Health-Tech regarding the Safe & Drug-Free Schools Program and the Tobacco Prevention and Intervention Teacher Training Project as submitted.
Financial Impact
The 2007-2008 SDFS Grant and the Tobacco Prevention Grnat will cover the $6,500.00 and $3,500.00 evaluation fees respectively.
