Item Title
C-31 Additive Change Order #2 for Ridgeview High School Air Handling Unit Replacement Buildings 1 & 3

Issue/Rationale

Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications.  Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board for approval.  The additive changes are temporary air conditioning in the library and MDF rooms while the air handling units were replaced, replacement of existing isolating valves, and repair of an pre existing damaged duct.  See attached.



Recommended Action
Approve the Change Order.

Financial Impact
If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $9,612.58.  The Substantial Completion date is July 28, 2011.  Final Completion date is August 12, 2011.  Architect fees will increase by $576.75 as a result of this change order.
