Issue/Rationale

Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board. This change order is required for electrical changes beyond original scope of work. Contractor: Parks Electric Service, Inc.; Engineer: KPI Engineering, Inc.

Recommended Action

Approve the change order.

Financial Impact

If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $4,719.00. The substantial completion date is August 10, 2011. Engineer fees will increase by $283.14 as a result of this Change Order.
