C-38 Additive Change Order #1 for Keystone Heights Elementary School New Administration Building
Issue/Rationale
Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board. This change order was requested by Clay Electric to relocate the transformer on the school playground to the south side of the new parking area. Contractor: M. M. Parrish Construction Company; Architect: Paul Stresing & Associates, Inc.
Recommended Action
Approve the change order.
Financial Impact
If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $37,501.50. The substantial completion date was January 13, 2011. Architect fees will increase by $2,250.09 as a result of this Change Order.
