C-44 Additive Change Order #3 for Clay High School Building 1 Duct Board Replacement (Phase IV)
Issue/Rationale
Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board for approval. The additive changes are for new twenty ton roof top unit with all items necessary for a complete installation and add 4 way switching on gymnasium lighting.
Recommended Action
Approve the Change Order.
Financial Impact
If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $53,010.00. The Substantial Completion date is September 29, 2010. Final Completion date is October 14, 2010. Architect fees will increase by $3,180.60 as a result of this change order.
