Item Title
C-17 Revision to the Policies and Procedures for the Provision of Specially Designed Instruction and Related Services for Exceptional Students (SP&P).
Issue/Rationale
Several revisions were required by the Department of Education to the Special Program and Procedures Manual. A summary of the changes and revised manual are attached.
This document outlines the requirements for eligibility and placement in ESE programs in Clay District Schools and requires compliance with State and Federal policies. FEFP participation requires this document. Current service cannot be provided without participation.
Recommended Action
Approve the revisions and procedures as submitted.
Financial Impact
FEFP funding for Special Education is necessary to provide services. There is no other funding sources to replace these funds.
