Item Title
C-13 Extension of the current Policies and Procedures for the Provision of Specially Designed Instruction and Related Services for Exceptional Students (SP&P).
Issue/Rationale
Verification of School Board approval of the Special Program and Procedures Manual must be submitted by August 31, 2008 in order to participate in state funding.
This document outlines the requirements for eligibility and placement in ESE programs in Clay District Schools. FEFP participation requires this document. Current services cannot be provided without participation.
Recommended Action
The Superintendent recommends approval.
Financial Impact
FEFP funding for Special Education are necessary to provide services. There is no other funding sources to replace these funds.
