August 21, 2008 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #19 Item Title C-18 Interagency Agreement between the School Board of Clay County and the Young Men's Christian Association of Florida's First Coast, Inc. regarding Take Stock in Children Issue/Rationale Sharing of information between YMCA and SBCC will address the needs of selected students and provides appropriate programs and services to prevent these students from not completing their education.  TSIC awards Florida Prepaid College Scholarships to selected at-risk students to motivate the students to stay in school, earn good grades, stay alcohol and drug free and to stay out of the Juvenile Justice system. Recommended Action Approve the Interagency Agreement between the School Board of Clay County and the Young Men's Christian Association of Florida's First Coast, Inc. regarding Take Stock in Children as submitted.
