C-27 Deductive Change Order #2 for Orange Park High School Panel Board/Switch Gear Replacement

Issue/Rationale

Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board. This change order will give the owner credit for deleted wiring, provide temporary power and correct some existing code violations. Contractor: T & M Electric, Inc.; Engineer: KPI Engineering, Inc.

Recommended Action

Approve the change order.

Financial Impact

If approved, this Change Order will decrease the contract amount by $477.03. The substantial completion date is August 2, 2012. Engineer fees will not increase as a result of this Change Order.
