Issue/Rationale
The Special Program and Procedures manual outlines the requirements for eligibility and placement in ESE programs in Clay District Schools and aligns with State and Federal policies. FEFP participation requires this document.
The Florida Department of Education has directed districts to extend the existing approved document by one year to allow for designing a web based reporting system.
Recommended Action
Approve Extension of ESE SP&P as submitted.
Financial Impact
FEFP funding for Special Education is necessary to provide services. There are no other funding sources to replace these funds.
