Item Title
Adoption of the 2009/10 Tentative Capital Outlay Plan

Issue/Rationale
Under Florida law the Board shall, each year, adopt a capital outlay budget for the ensuing year in order that the capital outlay needs of the Board for the entire year may be well understood by the public. The capital outlay budget shall be part of the annual budget and shall become the first year of the Educational Facilities Plan.

Recommended Action
Adopt the 2009/10 Tentative Capital Outlay Plan.

Financial Impact

a) General Capital Outlay: $19,421,787.20 project initiatives.

b) Special Maintenance Capital Outlay $1,689,535.85 and Safety-To-Life Capital Outlay: $232,235.00 for a total of $1,921,770.85 of 2009-10 project initiatives.

c) Technology Capital Outlay: $2,324,928.34 of 2009-10 project initiatives.
