The legal issues of educating individuals with disabilities are complex and new interpretations of what is required in documentation and services arise routinely.  It is important the district personnel remain current on the latest interpretations of state and federal laws governing services for students with disabilities.  Permission is sought for the ESE Director and Supervisor to travel to Colorado April 26-30, 2015 for the National Institute on Legal Issues of Educating Individuals with Disabilities.  This is a required activity in the IDEA grant.
