C-14 Contract between SDCC and Blackboard Hosting
Issue/Rationale
Maintaining the district Blackboard server requires excessive IT hardware and personnel. Blackboard hosting will remove this burden from SDCC and provide services as outlined in the contract. At present, $125,000 in upgrades in software and hardware are needed for the current system, so the fees associated actually save district funds. Blackboard hosting is funded under Title II, Part A.
Recommended Action
Approve the contract between SDCC and Blackboard Hosting as submitted.
Financial Impact
$66,759.95 to be funded through Title II, Part A.
