Issue/Rationale
Request approval of the 2007-2008 fiscal year audit of the Clay County Education Foundation (Foundation) by Teresa Harrington, CPA.
CCSB Policy 6GX-10-1.10 provides that the Clay County School Board has the right and power to approve the annual audit of the Foundation.
Recommended Action
Approval of the audit for fiscal year ended June 30, 2008, as presented.
Financial Impact
There is no direct financial effect on the School Board by the approval of the 2007-2008 fiscal year audit of the Clay County Education Foundation
The Clay County Education Foundation contributes to the excellence of Clay County Schools through funding for supplementary innovative materials and scholarships.
