C-4 (Bolla) Superintendent's Salary for 2007-2008
Issue/Rationale
The Board authorizes any additional contribution it makes to the Superintendent's salary annually. The Superintendent's official base salary is calculated and certified by the Florida Legislative Committee on Intergovernmental Relations. An additional $2000 is added to the Superintendent's salary as a result of his having earned the State Superintendent's certification.
The proposed Board contribution for 2007-2008 will result in an increase of approximately 6.0%, equivalent to that approved for other employee groups for 2007-08.
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of the salary as proposed.
Financial Impact
If approved, the Board's 2007-2008 total increase in contributions will be $7,603.00.
