Reject all bids due to a conflict between the Plans and Specification. It was not clear as to which material to use to construct the ductwork; metal or phenolic foam. The budget will not support pure phenolic foam duct board. We intend to re-bid using a combination of metal duct work in areas where there is enough room to insulate properly and phenolic foam in areas where it is to congested to insulate correctly.

The bid opening was held Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. The project had three (3) bidders. The documents were available at 1st advertisement and seven (7) bid notices were sent out to seven (7) potential bidders and to three (3) active plan rooms. The project was advertised three (3) times, thus allowing plenty of time for all qualified bidders to submit bids. The project has been authorized by the School Board and is listed in Section IV of the 2006/2007 Capital Projects Plan.

Reject all bids and authorize re-advertisement and re-bidding of this project.
