Issue/Rationale
This project is listed in the 2009-2010 Educational Facilities Plan. The award of a construction project in excess of $25,000.00 requires School Board approval.
The bid opening was held Friday, February 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. The project had four (4) bidders and all bidders met the bid requirements.
Recommended Action
Award the construction contract to Prestige Construction Systems, the low bidder meeting specifications, the base bid in the amount of $295,112.00.
Financial Impact
The low bidder meeting specifications, Prestige Construction Systems, had a total bid award of $295,112.00. The funds are available and budgeted in the Educational Facilities Plan.
