C-29 Lake Asbury Elementary School Fire Alarm Replacement Contract Award
Issue/Rationale
This project is listed in the 2014/2015 Educational Facilities Plan. The award of a construction project in excess of $25,000.00 requires School Board approval.
The bid opening was held Thursday, February 5 at 2:00 p.m. The project had two (2) bidders and all bidders met the bid requirements.
Recommended Action
Award the construction contract to Maximum Fire Protection, Inc., the low bidder meeting specifications, the base bid in the amount of $149,000.00.
Financial Impact
These funds are available and budgeted in the Educational Facilities Plan.
