C-38 Keystone Heights High School CTE Remodel Contract Award

Issue/Rationale

This project is listed in the 2013/2014 Educational Facilities Plan. The award of a construction project in excess of $25,000.00 requires School Board approval.

The bid opening was held Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. The project had six (6) bidders and all bidders met the bid requirements.

Recommended Action

Award the construction contract to Shine & Company, Inc., the low bidder meeting specifications, the base bid in the amount of $499,000.00.

Financial Impact

These funds are available and budgeted in the Educational Facilities Plan.
