Issue Rationale for bid / RFP to be awarded as required per FS 287, DOE 6A-1.012 and School Board Policy
a. Fire Extinguishers and Kitchen Hood Systems Inspection/Maintenance/Repair County Wide Bid #14-MA-306: Contract Period is February 21, 2014 through February 18, 2016 – Bid established for the purchase of on-site services for the inspection, maintenance and repair of fire extinguishers within all buildings, and vehicles and on-site services for the inspection, maintenance and repair of pre-engineered fire suppression hood systems at designated schools. Scheduled routine inspection and maintenance services shall be at firm fixed pricing. Fifteen (15) bids solicited plus listed on our web site for download, four (4) bids received and 1 no bid. The vendor awarded is the lowest most qualified responsive bidder meeting specifications.
