Agenda Item #21 Item Title C-25 Deletion of Certain Items Report - February, 2014 Issue/Rationale ISSUE: The items listed have been surveyed by the Coordinator of Property Control, at the request of the Cost Center Property Manager, and the recommended disposition is noted. These items are either obsolete, unusable or beyond economical repair. These items should be removed from active inventory and disposed of in the manner indicated. RATIONALE: Tangible Personal Property shall be controlled and supervised from acquisition through transfer or disposal. Disposal of property shall be in accordance with Section 274.05, Florida Statutes. All deletions of items with a value of $750.00 or more will be approved by The Clay County School Board prior to disposition - School Board Policy Section 5.03C. Recommended Action Approve Deletion of Certain Items Report - February, 2014 as submitted. Financial Impact Provides additional storage space and eliminates the need to account for unusable property.
