C-18 (Vallencourt) Contract to open Vystar Credit Union at Fleming Island High School as part of the Academy of Business, Finance and Technology
Issue/Rationale
This agreement between the CCSD through the administration of Fleming Island High School and Vystar Credit Union will establish a learning lab branch at Fleming Island High School that will be a training facility where students can have realistic and practical experiences in the financial services industry. Limited operations that are conducted in an ordinary credit union branch will assist in the development of the Academy of Business, Finance, and Technology students from Fleming Island High School for supervised learning experiences within the provisions set forth in this agreement.
Recommended Action
The Superintendent recommends approval.
Financial Impact
None. Vystar will make all room improvements.
