Orange Park Elementary School Panelboard Replacement Contract Award

Issue/Rationale

This project is listed in the 2012/2013 Educational Facilities Plan. The award of a construction project in excess of $25,000.00 requires School Board approval.

The bid opening was held Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. The project had three (3) bidders and all bidders met the bid requirements.

Recommended Action

Award the construction contract to T & M Electric, the low bidder meeting specifications, the base bid in the amount of $43,940.00.

Financial Impact

The low bidder meeting specifications, T & M Electric, has a total bid award of $43,940.00. These funds are available and budgeted in the Educational Facilities Plan.
