Construction contract award for Re-Roof Buildings 1, 2, 3, & 4 at Clay Hill Elementary School
Issue/Rationale
Bid opening was held Thursday, January 26, 2006 at 2:30 P.M. The project had two (2) bidders and was advertised three (3) times. Standard advertisement was conducted and direct mailouts were sent to perspective bidders. Although only two (2) bidders, the low bid is considered responsive and appropriate for the project.
Recommended Action
Award the contract to the low bidder as submitted to Wilford Roofing Co., Inc. for a total bid award of $119,345.00.
Financial Impact
Funding for this project has been budgeted for fiscal year 2005-06 of the Capital Projects Plan.
