Bids To Be Awarded in February 2006 (Revised)

Issue/Rationale

Bids received in answer to School Board requests have been opened, tabulated, evaluated and checked.  Bid documents, original bid responses and tabulation sheets are available in the Clay County School Board Purchasing Department.

Chapter 6A-1, State Board Rules, requires that except as authorized by law or rule, bids shall be requested from three or more sources when purchases will exceed the bid amount set by the DOE and the School Board.  6A-1 also requires that the School Board accept the lowest and best bid but is given the authority to reject all bids.

Financial Impact

Estimated Cost based on approximate usage:

a.  $450,000.00

b.  $28,743.00
