Florida Statutes 1012.22 and 1012.27 require the district school board and superintendent to adopt a salary schedule to be used as a basis for paying school district employees.  Any changes or revisions made to the salary schedule throughout the school year are brought to the School Board for approval.

Florida’s minimum wage is currently $7.79 per hour.   Effective January 1, 2014, Florida’s minimum wage will increase to $7.93 per hour.  This revision to the salary schedule reflects that change.

The Volunteer Tutor Coordinator (Adult Ed) is grant funded and provides for instructional pay at $26.00 per hour. 

Approve the revision as requested.

Increase of 14 cents per hour, effective January 1, 2014, which impacts specific substitute hourly employees as needed.

No financial impact on Adult and Community Education based on grant funding.
