Orange Park High School Lighting Replacement Parking Lot Contract Award

Issue/Rationale

This project is listed in the 2012/2013 Educational Facilities Plan. The award of a construction project in excess of $25,000.00 requires School Board approval.

The bid opening was held Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. The project had two (2) bidders and all bidders met the bid requirements.

Recommended Action

Award the construction contract to T&M Electric, Inc., the low bidder meeting specifications, the base bid in the amount of $127,102.00 and Alternates 1 and 2 for a total bid award of $166,782.00.

Financial Impact

The low bidder meeting specifications, T&M Electric, Inc., has a total bid award of $166,782.00. These funds are available and budgeted in the Educational Facilities Plan.
