C-26 Additive Change Order #1 for Ridgeview High School Cafeteria Expansion – Phase I


Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications.  Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board for approval.  The additive changes are for labor, material, and equipment necessary to install a 6” gate valve and related accessories for fire hydrant.  See attached.

Recommended Action

Approve the Change Order.

Financial Impact

If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $983.78.  The Substantial Completion date is April 1, 2012.  Final Completion date is May 1, 2012.  Architect fees will increase by $59.03 as a result of this change order.
