January 19, 2012 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #33 Item Title Request by Board Attorney to meet out of the Sunshine pursuant to F.S. 286.011(8) for purpose of discussion of litigation strategy Issue/Rationale F.S. 286.011(8) requires that the Board Attorney advise the Board that he desires advice concerning litigation and of the need for an attorney/client out of sunshine meeting for said discussions. At this time the Board Attorney is advising the Board that such a meeting is needed to discuss the case of Patrick Capriola v. Clay County School Board and Linda Turner.  The meeting will take place at the end of the School Board meeting on January 19, 2012 and will be attended by Attorney Bruce Bickner, Attorney Timothy Strong, Superintendent Ben Wortham, School Board Members Carol Studard, Frank Farrell, Janice Kerekes, Lisa Graham and Charlie Van Zant.  Recommended Action Approve meeting as requested.
