School Impact Fee Report

Issue/Rationale

The Florida Impact Fee Act, F.S. 1.63.31801, requires that the calculation of the impact fee be based on the most recent data. The current School Impact Fee Technical Report was received by the Board on April 17, 2008. Since then, the 2010 census data has become available and the revenue data for the district has changed significantly. The district requested that Urbanomics, Inc. prepare an updated School Impact Fee Technical Report based on the 2010 census data and recent revenue. The report is attached.

Recommended Action

Receive and discuss the School Impact Fee Technical Report dated November 2011. No changes to the fee structure are recommended at this time.
