C-23 Clay County Education Foundation Audit for Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2011

Issue/Rationale

Request approval of the 2010-2011 fiscal year audit of the Clay County Education Foundation (Foundation) by William Haeberle, CPA.

CCSB Policy 6GX-10-1.10 provides that the Clay County School Board has the right and power to approve the annual audit of the Foundation.

Recommended Action
Approve audit for fiscal year ended June 30, 2011, as presented.

Financial Impact

There is no direct financial effect on the School Board by the approval of the audit of the Clay County Education Foundation.

The Clay County Education Foundation contributes to the excellence of Clay County Schools through funding for supplementary innovative materials and scholarships.
