The selection was conducted in accordance with Florida Statute 287.055.  The project was advertised for three consecutive weeks with The Clay Today.  Selection Committee members were Jim Connell, Director of Facility Planning and Construction, John Merrill, Director of Maintenance, and Frank Farrell, School Board Member.  

As a result of interviews and after due consideration, the Selection Committee recommends the following firms as listed in priority order:

1.  Bhide & Hall Architects, P.A. – Orange Park, FL

2.  Paul Stresing Associates, Inc. – Alachua, FL

3.  Dasher Hurst Architects, P.A. – Jacksonville, FL

4.  R. Dean Scott – Jacksonville, FL

Appoint the top ranked firm, Bhide & Hall Architects, P.A., at a fee of 6% of the construction cost for Ridgeview High School Cafeteria Expansion.

All funding necessary for the Architectural fees resulting from this contract are budgeted within the Educational Facilities Plan.  Architect/Engineer fees are estimated to be $90,000.00.
