January Regular Meeting Agenda Item #13 Item Title January 1, 2006 - December 31, 2006 Interagency Service contract between the School District of Clay County (SDCC) and the Clay County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) regarding the Title V DJJ Delinquency Prevention Grant/Clay CARES Partnership program Issue/Rationale The Title V Delinquency Prevention Grant through the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) was awarded to the Clay Board of County Commissioners (BCC).  The BCC will pass the grant funds to the CCSO who will sub-contract with the SDCC for services to combat truancy in zip code 32073 schools (OPHS, OPJH, WEC, MCE and SBJ).  The CCSO recognizes the expertise necessary to implement the grant and the fact that the SDCC provides that expertise and support. Recommended Action Approve January 1, 2006 - December 31, 2006 Interagency Service contract between the School District of Clay County (SDCC) and the Clay County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) regarding the Title V DJJ Delinquency Prevention Grant/Clay CARES Partnership program as submitted.
