C-55 Additive Change Order #2 for Wilkinson Junior High School Locker Bay Re-Roof
Issue/Rationale
Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Once a Change Order is initiated, review/evaluation is undertaken to determine the merit and/or requirement of the Change Order. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board for approval. The additive changes are for elevation correction of walkway canopy and installation of lights in the locker bays.
Recommended Action
Approve the Change Order.
Financial Impact
If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $15,008.00. The Substantial Completion date is July 31, 2010. Final Completion date is August 15, 2010. Architect fees will increase by $900.48 as a result of this change order.
