Item Title
C-18 Contract for Audiological services during school year 2010-2011
Issue/Rationale
The School District of Clay County is required to provide audiological services to eligible ESE students.
The contracted services will include but are not limited to: Child Find activities, three year audiological evaluations, fittings for hearing aids, FM systems and audiological consultations.
These mandatory services are most efficiently provided with a private vendor.
Recommended Action
Approve the continuation of audiological services contract as submitted.
Financial Impact
Cost for services is approximately $8,000.00.
