July 15, 2010 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #21 Item Title C-20 Contract for interpreter (sign-language) services for school year 2010-2011. Issue/Rationale Clay District Schools must provide Interpreters to meet current student needs.  Students who are deaf/hard of hearing, are entitled under the Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) to a district provided Interpreter in order to participate successfully in their education. Recommended Action Approve Continuing contract for Interpreter services as submitted. Financial Impact Approximately $180,000.00. Submitted By Terry D.
