Agenda Item #26 Item Title C-25 Additive Change Order #1 for District Ancillary Facility Blanding Entry Phase Issue/Rationale Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board for approval. The additive changes are required to add a prime coat on all unpaved limerock on this project to improve weathering characteristics. Contractor: A. J. Johns, Inc.; Architect: Bhide & Hall Architects Recommended Action Approve the Change Order. Financial Impact If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $325.00. The Substantial Completion date is August 14, 2009. Architect fees will increase by $19.50 as a result of this change order. Submitted By James A.
