C-24 Request approval of Rental Agreement for North Fork Leadership Center for the Summer Camp Program
Issue/Rationale
Each year the School District offers Science Summer Camps that are held at the North Fork Leadership Center in Middleburg. This program is offered to all elementary students in the district, and activities are aligned to the Florida Science Standards, and are inquiry-based. This will be the third year that the camps have taken place. We are requesting that the School Board approve the rental agreement and the issuance of a purchase order.
Recommended Action
Approve rental agreement and grant authorization to cut purchase order
Financial Impact
Estimated cost is $8,000.00. The program is funded through student registration fees, and supplemented by Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) grant funds.
