July 18, 2013 - Regular Meeting Agenda Item #22 Item Title C-23 Interagency Agreement between the School Board of Clay County, the Young Men's Christian Association of Florida's First Coast, Inc., and Take Stock in Children Issue/Rationale Sharing of information between YMCS and SBCC will address the needs of selected students and provides appropriate programs and services to prevent these students from not completing their education.  TSIC awards Florida Prepaid College Scholarships to selected at-risk student to motivate the students to stay in school, earn good grades, stay alcohol and drug free and to stay out of the Juvenile Justice system. Recommended Action Approve the Interagency Agreement between the School Board of Clay County, the Young Men's Christian Association of Florida's First Coast, Inc., and Take Stock in Children as submitted.
