C-9 Vacate and Set Aside Termination of Michael Ford

Issue/Rationale

On May 16, 2013, the School Board followed the recommendation of the Superintendent, Charlie Van Zant, Jr., and terminated Michael Ford from employment with the school district. It has been determined that it is in the best interest of all parties that the termination be vacated and set aside contingent upon Michael Ford resigning effective May 16, 2013.

Recommended Action

Vacate and set aside the Board action of May 16, 2013, terminating Michael Ford.
